How to have a background print out

Hello all,

I have a spreadsheet which is for incentivising a number of sales team. It looks like a bar chart although it uses conditional formating to draw the bars.

The incentive scheme is based on Formula 1 and so there is a nice visual background of an F1 car, but when I print it I don't get the background.

Is there anyway that I can get it so that the background prints?

Try saving as a PDF ??

Tested out saving as PDF in Excel 2007, sorry, that won't work either.

Here’s a work around.

Insert your Formula 1 picture in a blank worksheet using Insert Picture and get it to the proper page size.

Then Copy your spreadsheet and superimpose as text on top of the picture using Copy / Paste

Print it out.

It’s not 100% but it looks pretty good.

kosciosco, workarounds will be your only option. Backgrounds in Excel files have never printed.
