Year Sequence

Need help with expanding many different year sequences in a cell like 1985-1990, to 1985,1986,1987,1988,1989,1990 in the same cell. Any help would be appreciated!

Add this UDF in your VB editor (Alt+F11>> Insert|Module)

Then use formula (in an empty cell):

=aconcat(ROW(INDIRECT(LEFT(A1,4)&":"&RIGHT(A1,4))),",")

where A1 contains first range...

confirm with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER not just ENTER

=MCONCAT(ROW(INDIRECT(LEFT(A1,4)&":"&RIGHT(A1,4))),",")
