    Changing Excel Icon

I have saved an excel file to my desktop and I want to change the icon. Normally this could be done with right click+ properties, but this can't be done with the excel icon.
I know it's a fairly trivial thing but does anyone know how this can be done?
    Thanks

I think you can only do this if it is a shortcut
    Hope that helps.

    Re: Changing Excel Icon

I saved all my Excel files in the My Documents folder. I can then create a desktop shortcut to that file, and this allows me to change the shortcut icon.
