Question Remove formula bar from ribbon on a 2007 file

How can I remove the formula bar on excel 2007 using vba. I have a pivot table and I don't want to display the cell contents in the formula bar. If I do hide/lock cells and protect sheet, than the pivot table cannot be updated. I was hoping to somehow remove the formula bar from the ribbon for this particular file.

Click the Office Button, then select Excel Options at the bottom of the Dialog. Select Advanced on the left, then scroll down to find display, you can choose not to show the Formula bar there.
    Hope that helps.
