Re: Changing Quantity according to pack size

    Hi Ben!

On the left I have the data.

PLU or product code 494 is appearing in cell A9 & A24.

    Qty of 494 is 0.004 & 0.022.

This is a example of PENS in a box pack size of 6,12 & 24

    Thanks

    Navneet

    You can use sumproduct,
As with protonLeah, I have no idea how you get the results you are expecting.

Re: Changing Quantity according to pack size

Please find the attached file with comments in Output column.I am working in a Pen making factory. Each Pen Product code has a pack size. For example a box of pen will contain 12 pens or 6 pens. The pack size of each product code is mentioned in the excel sheet.

    1.010 means 1 Box & 10 Pens

    1.006 means 1 Box and 6 pens

    0.010 means 10 Pens only

Waiting for a solution.Guys please help me.

    Thanks

Re: Changing Quantity according to pack size

Helper columns may be required as some of your QTY are already in Packs, but individual pens are in the 1000 decimal point.

    Check out the example

I am curious to see what others have come up with as well.

Re: Changing Quantity according to pack size

Thanks Davesexcel for the solution.Just one more thing I want.

Instead of writing the output in column M(Pen Box pack) & column N(pens).I cannot have the output like 1.002 in single column.

    Thanks once again.

this seems to get the same result as you have in your example.

    In L6 try...

    drag the formula down

You can use the sumif formula for the other part of your Data Table
