I am trying to pull some dates from an expense log to a summary sheet. I have tried using Index- Match, but I am not having much sucess.
I hope the attachment will help make it clearer what I am trying to accomplish.

Create a proper data layout i.e. no empty columns or rows then use a PivotTable

Their will be many blanks in the actual log sheet. In the sample I provided I deleated personal and non essential information.
What I was looking for is a formula similar to "SUMIF".
That formula works very well in cells l "B19:C30" but will not return a "Date". I don't know if a "SUMPRODUCT" or some other formula will work.Please Login or Register to view this content.
Im not very savy with Pivot Tables but since I have a seperate sheet for each account I don't think that is the way to go.
