Counting duplicate integers in cell

I have a worksheet where one of the cells is the sequence of events done during a medical exam.

The cell will look like this

123424

1234

12323

12341234

I need to be able to analyze this data and find out what proceedures are being repeated.

I need a formula that can look at the number in a cell, figure out if there is a duplicate and then have a result that tells me for instance that "2" is repeated twice
