    A Step Beyond Parsing/Concatenation

    Hello all,

I have a spreadsheet with one column, I'm looking to parse it into three columns. Future columns will include Business Name, Website, and Genres. Both Business Name and Genres will have a varied amount of words and spaces.

Can you give me a hand?

    Thank you!

Check out Text to Column on the Data Tab.

If that does not suit your needs, please supply more information - or better yet a sample sheet.

    Hey thanks for responding.

This is a little beyond the simple text to columns. I've attached a hypothetical sheet for you to check out. Columns for the sheet would be "Business" "Website" and "Conditions." As you can see, the amount of spaces in the Business and Conditions columns are variable, which makes the text-to-columns parse tricky.

    Thanks a bunch.

Is this data truly representative of the actual data?

Hey, forget that last question, I tried it and it works. Thank you very much!
