Excel 2007 : Specific Date Compared to Date Range

I have a spreadsheet that calculates a running monthly date due based on the lowest date in an established range. Then a lookup table determines if an amount should be listed for later use if the calculated date in column is within a range of a new date set in other columns. The formula being used is [=IF(AND($L15>=$N$3,$L15<=$N$4),$N$6,0)]. For example, calculated date is 8/15/2008, is that date within the range of 04/21/2007 through 10/23/2015 if yes list the amount, if no don’t list the amount. How can I adapt the dates or the comparison so that the calculation only uses month and year to list the amount but keep the full date for use later?
