    Re: an difficult excel graph

what can i do, and what not

    1) i need to make the area-band

i can do this by using the stacked area graph, and then make the first area transparant
is this the best way ?

    a) but the problem is that my graph starts at x value 0 and ends at x value 4
is the only solution to this: leave a row open above the numbers or labels ?

    b) i need to add a line onto the graph, but i cannot do this,

c)can i add next to the Y-as words which do scale along with the graph ? (i can put them there by adding it as a text.

    thanks so much

    start here: http://peltiertech.com/WordPress/fil...a-combo-chart/

If you get stuck, come back with what you have managed to get in place and provide the Excel file.

    cheers
