Showing filtered results on separate sheets

I have a sheet of data which I want to filter out and show the results on a separate sheet.

For instance sheet 1 column A has a pulldown list of categories (wall, floor, ceiling). the row has data relating to that category (paint colour, paint finish, supplier)

I want Sheet 2 to show all the rows of data from sheet 1 that have "wall" in sheet1 column a, sheet 3 would then show floor, sheet 4 would show ceiling.

I want it to update automatically. so that if i change a category from column A on sheet 1, all the other sheets alter the information acordingly.

Is this possible?

Hi, I've attached an example. Imagine it with 100 rows and I want to see the 30 rows that are category "wall" on the tab wall, floor on tab floor etc. and to just update as I change the category.
