Attach # value to letter in cell, add cells, omit N/A, give % based on appliacable

Hello there,

Here is my challenge. I have an assesment style document in which users place a letter value (i.e. Y, S, N or N/A) in respecitive cells throughout the document. These cells are not adjoining, menaing it is not a A1:A3 type set up but rather smiliar to that of A23, A25, A27, A29, A31, A35 etc. (almost every other but not quite).

In these cells the user is inputting Y for yes, S for sometimes, N for no, and N/A for not appicable. I need a formula that will attach the value of "2" for Y, "1" for S, "0" for N, then sum the values, and then provide a % based on the total possible value for all applicable cells. Menaing I need the formula to recognize the number of cells that have a value (i.e. those not showing a N/A) and multiply by 2 thus providing the total possible value.

Any help would be greatly appricated.
