Reducing a pos/neg number down to a defined range?

    Hello,
Sorry if this a "noob" question, but here goes anyway. In an "Excel" spreadsheet, I need to reduce a positive or negative number by adding or subtracting multiples of 24 until the number falls into the range 0 to 24. For example, I have -465.986 in a cell, I need to add 24 to that value twenty times until I get 14.014. Can I do that in a single action/cell? Thanks, Scott

    Welcome to the forum.

    =MOD(-465.986, 24)

    Heh, that easy?
    Want a giggle?
I tried using "IF" for about fifteen minutes.
    Thanks, much appreciated.
