Excel 2007 : Changing values in a cell depending on date

Hello

I want to change the values in a cell named "Replaced Quarter" depending on what date it is (the dates are devided in quarters), which in turn are linked to four diffrent values, Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4.

So for example, if the date is 5th of May, then it should take the values from Q2 (1/4 - 30/6) and add them to the cell namned replaced quarter.

Any help?

Okay here it is,

I want the values from sheet2 to automatically move to sheet1 under 'replaced quarter' during the current quarter. E.g Today is the 24th of May = Q2 = values from Q2 move to replaced quarter.

Change of plans, the data will only be devided in 2 half-year coloumns. So the first one will be 2010-01-01 to 2010-06-01 and the other from 2010-07-01 to the end of the year.

Any help?
