    Conditional Formatting: Value vs. Formula

    I have a spreadsheet with formulas. However, I am allowing users of the spreadsheet to overwrite the formulas with values if they see fit. At this point I would like to change the shading of the cell that I am aware of which cells have had their formulas overwritten with a value. So simply looking for conditional format that can identify if a cell contains a formula or simply a value.

    You can use a UDF
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    Then use that in conditional formatting:

    =IsFormula(me)

    or

    =NOT(IsFormula(me))

    ... where me is the cell in which the CF appears.
