    Document help - a template??

Hello, I'm not exactly sure if this is called a 'template' or what it's called - or the best way to describe what I'm looking for....

But, I need to create a document that I can create 1 time, save - and use over and over again. So, I need to be able to type right in the document without it changing, or moving around on me.

    Please HELP ME!

You've posted in the Excel forum, so I assume we're talking about Excel?

So create a workbook, and save it as a template. What's your question?

Re: Document help - a template??

I have been doing that - and it isn't working the way I want it to. YES, we're talking about excel. My question is - I want to create a document that I can type in without changing any of that formatting. For instance, I have a line __________ that I want to be able to type in - but I don't want the line _____ to disappear.

So, for example - how do I create a document that many others create - like an online job application for instance... you can type right into it, but no formatting changes or anything like that. Please help
