    Random Questions

Hi I am using excel 2003. I have a number of questions and any help would be useful!

First Question: I want to make a specialized dropdown menu. Is there a way that I can click on the dropdown menu and have it display a number and a word (ex. 400 - mud tank) and then when you click it have it display only the number (ex. 400).

Second Question: Is there a way to lock the my rows? In other words, Can I sort one of my columns (in alphabetical order or something) and have all the rows move with it instead of just the one.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Mike

    Re: Random Questions

    Welcome to the forum.

    1. No, not without VBA.

    2. Select all the columns of interest before sorting.
