    Dropdown population (nested if functions)

    Hi all,

So on the attached example.xls I have a drop down menu on sheet calcs. I want to know how to created the nested function so the calculations work for each drop down option.

I cannot work out how to format the if function so that it stays for that row but the column selection changes...

    any help would be appreciated.

    Try:

    =INDEX(Clothes!$A$2:$F$20,ROWS($A$1:$A1),MATCH($A$1,Clothes,0))

    copied down.

Note: You can hide the 0's by formatting the cells custom as: 0;-0;;@
