Excel 2007 : Replace English Text in one column with Foreign text from another

Hello All

Having some trouble with a set of data I have. Basically, I have two spreadsheets, one with a list of place names with several additional words after or before them (say holidays in spain, for instance), but a fair few thousand of them

In my other spreadsheet I have the place names that are contained in the other spreadsheet in one column and in the next column I have their translation in another language

I am trying to get to an easier method of replacing the english wording of the place name with the foreign wording of it. Currently have been using the find and replace and copy & pasting things across but this will take me until the end of time!

I require a way of creating a formula or macro (unsure on either as my excel knowledge runs out at this point) that will allow me to replace the english place names in my first spreadsheet with the foreign translation of them in the other

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated
