    #VALUE! problems

    I'm trying to get a value out of this formula.

    I have an excel where it is working properly. Here is the formula:

    {=(SUM(IF('Value Matrix'!$L$5:$L$12=$B50,1,0)*IF('Value Matrix'!$J$5:$J$12=H$71,1,0)*IF('Value Matrix'!$B$5:$B$12='R1'!$C$13,3,IF('Value Matrix'!$B$5:$B$12='R2'!$C$13,17,IF('Value Matrix'!$B$5:$B$12='R3'!$C$13,19,IF('Value Matrix'!$B$5:$B$12='R4'!$C$13,31,IF('Value Matrix'!$B$5:$B$12='R5'!$C$13,37,IF('Value Matrix'!$B$5:$B$12='R6'!$C$13,62,IF('Value Matrix'!$B$5:$B$12='R7'!$C$13,74,100)))))))))}

    Notice it has { } at the front and end. As soon as I go to edit this formula they disappear and the fomula then returs a #VALUE! error. If I replace the { } it just show the entire formula.

    Even with the #VALUE! if I click the fx button I get a fomula result that's a number.

    How do I get that number into the cell and how come { } work in the formula before, but disappear as soon as I click on the formula and when replaced do not function the same.

    Thanks for any help!

    Re: #VALUE! problems

    They are array formulas
    Hope that helps.
