Excel 2007 : Determine total sales and type of sales per salesperson

Hi, I'm fairly new to Excel and would like some help if possible. I do hope this is the correct forum to post this in. Please have mercy on me, if not!

Try:

=countifs($A$2:$A$9,A18,B$2:B$9,"<>")

copied down and to next column.

Forgot a $

Try:

=COUNTIFS($A$2:$A$9,$A18,B$2:B$9,"<>")

You had $B18 in that column...
