    Changing Colour of Date

    Hello everyone,

    I am currently designing a spreadsheet in which I need to show a number of different deadlines (in date format).

    If the deadline is less than a week away, I need the date to go red, how can I do this!?

    Is there a way as well to make it red if it's less than a week away, blue if it's two weeks away etc.

    Please help!

    Jess

    Hi, Try this: Conditional Format :-
    Red 7 or less days from today.
    Blue between 7 and 14 days away.
    =IF(A1-NOW()<7,TRUE,FALSE)
    =IF(A1-NOW()<14,TRUE,FALSE)

    Hi Mick,
    Your formula's are good but conditional formatting is already looking for True/False relationships so your formulas can be simplified to
    =A1-NOW()<7 and
    =A1-NOW()<14
