    Sort by value

i have a list of Contacts, listed by name, with their region #s in the box after their name. I've copied the original box and pasted as Links. I want to able to sort the links by other criteria, such as region. If I update the original list (say, replace Mary with Murphy), I want to resort the original table by Name, and have the links update the second table, but still sort the second table by Region. Can this be done? See attachment.

    Re: Sort by value

Now that is really sweet! I was going to do it by creating a pivot table, and pasting links of that back into the original sheet, but your solution is a lot more elegant. It looks like I need to look into this "Index" function; it appears to work very well. Thank you.
