Question Lock Sheet, only specific cells editable

    Hello,

I'm relatively new when it comes to editing certain criteria. I came along an ammortization schedule and would like to know how the cells were locked, except for the few cells that were needed to make the calculations. I know how to lock tabs, and a loop hole into locking cells, but it's much different then this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yep so... make sure the whole sheet is unlocked... Then select the cell you want to be able to put data in .. then right click on highlighted cells.. then format, then protection, then untick locked... and for the cells you want locked also highlight them right click format then protection then tick locked then protect worksheet and all should be good...

    Cheers Des
