how to count phrases in a cell

good evening,

looking for a little assistance or insight.

I have multiple cells but i am only worried about processing one at a time
this cell will contain many notes and words

I am looking so if cell A1 contains a story
cell a2 will contain a count of a phrase I select in the story contained in A1

so for example if the phrase I am looking to count is polar bears.

a2 would hold a count of how many times the phrase 'polar bears' appears in a1. it would be helpful if I could base this search on Boolean logic.
