Automatically set series from cell value

Im trying to create a graph showing multiple beach surveys. My spreadsheet consists of 3 columns, survey name, distance and height. Each survey has around 20 distance and height points, so in the 'survey name' column the same survey name will appear 20 times.

What is the best way for me to plot this data so that each survey appears as a separate series? If I just select all the data and try to create a graph automatically excel won't recognise that most of the values in the 'survey name' column are the same and let me use them as a series. I can do this manually by selecting one of the cells containing the survey name as the series name, then all the height cells as the series data, then selecting the distance values fo the x axis but to do that for every survey will take forever.

Can anyone suggest a way to speed things up, either with a macro or a way I could rearrange the data so excel will handle it properly?

    Thanks!

Sounds like a pivot table/chart will deal with your current data layout.

If you need more help post example workbook
