Removing Time From Column Leaving The Date Untouched

I have a column which has dates and times (24:00 format), like so:

    30/06/2010 13:30

I want to remove the time part from the column, how can I do that?

    Hi pwell

Format the cell with the date you want by
    select column and right click
    click "format cells"
select Date then the format you want 1/07/2010

Hi Pike, thanks for the quick response.

It wasn't quite what I was looking for but admittedly, I didn't explain very well.

Basically, in column A, I have date and times in each cell, comme ca:

    30/06/2010 13:30
    23/06/2010 12:15
    20/06/2010 11:11

Though instead of wanting them to appear with the time included, I want only the dates, comme ci:

    30/06/2010
    23/06/2010
    20/06/2010

    How do I do that?

It seems that you have your dates and times as text entries.

In that case you will have to use shg's suggestion of finding and replacing, so just look for " *" without the quotes ofcourse and replace with nothing

But there's so many varying times, that I would almost being going through 2000 cells to enter the exact times any way.

Is there any method to delete the last 6 characters from a column of cells?

you can do a global search on you sheet, or you can limit it to a row or column, whatever.

Select it, press, Ctrl and F simultaneously, and type exactly this " *" without the quotes [a space and then the asterisk) in the find field, and then go to replace, don't type anything on the replace slot and press, Replace.
