    return results without skipping lines.

    I have attached a file. I need to create a new sheet (sheet 2) that will return Column A of sheet 1 (Name) if Column B (Value) = "yes". However, I do not want to skip lines if the value = "No".

    The desired results are shown in sheet 3. How do I write a formula in Sheet 2 that will do this.

    thanks.

    Hmmm ...

    Looks to me that if you filter Sheet1 > Values = Yes

    Then copy the result to whatever sheet you wish, would get your the desired result.

    Am I missing something? Or is there more to the problem?

    If real life is more complex (I would expect) you may find pivot tables useful.
