    SumIf

I am looking for a formula that will sum/average all instances of data matching 3 specfic sets of criteria. I have attached a file containing what I am attempting to do (see cell comments). I think it requires some type of error checking as specific sets of data do not all contain full information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Help with sum if formula

There seems to be only one of each match (Datatype,Date,Time)???

Anyway, if there are more than one match:

    Re: SumIf

I only included one data type as the file would be quite large. There would be multiple matches but the formula above does not appear to be calcing all matches found, only returning the first value found.

    Re: SumIf

The formulas above sum all the values in column E or F based on those 3 criteria matching.... is the criteria that the data type, date and type be exactly the same?

You will need to also expand the ranges to suit.

    Re: SumIf

You are correct. I need to return a value that matches the data type, date and time (all 3). Function 1 needs to sum the matches and function 2 needs to average them.

I apologize for the confusion. I'm still a noob.
