    Angry ActiveX Security

    Hi

I have created a mini app in Excel 2007 using ActiveX controls on a UserForm.

I want to put the .xlsm on a network share so all users have access to it.

When they open the .xlsm , security kicks in and the Security warning that "Some Active content has been disabled" is displayed. Now we know its not going to work until the select the "options" dialog to enable the content.

I have sooo many users telling me the app just does not work. (as they don't notice the security warning)
I don't want to have to tell all users to go through the Trust Center and do configuration "stuff". Expecially with new users coming on board regularly.

What I am looking for is a way to automatically enable this option when the .xlsm is opened. (I realise this is against all security principles so it just hope really)

Is there any way around this programatically at start up time ?

If you are on a network, your IT bods should be able to control all that via Group Policy.

Get a digital certificate from VeriSign, sign your project, and explain to people how to trust you as a published. They only have to do it once.
