    Automatically convert weights

    Hi,

I am a novice with excel and have only started to use it recently and im wondering if i can programme it to help me.

What i need to do is have it convert a temprature automatically from LBS to KG but in the coloum opposite.

I have to seperate vertical coloums next to each othe and i would like to be able to enter the LBS value in one coloum and it automatically convert it into KG and put in in the opposite coloum? Is this possible?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Regard
    Dan

    Re: Automatically convert weights?????????

Check the formula CONVERT on the help.

You can also just go to Google and type on the search box:
    1 lb in kg

Then you can get the result and place it on a cell. And then you just create a formula referring to this cell to divide or multiply the value in pounds for them to become kilos.

You can't measure temperature in pounds or kilograms.
