    Exclamation fill help

I have the following request which I have no clue how to accomplish...

    First i'll explain the worksheet

say one column looks like this

    row 1: information1
    row 2: blank
    row 3: blank
    row 4: blank
    row 5: blank
    row 6: information 2
    row 7: blank
    row 8: blank
    row 9: blank
    row 10: blank
    row 11: information 3
    row 12: blank
    row 13. blank
    row 14: blank
    row 15: blank

This is an example of the basic structure of this worksheet at this point.

I am asking a way to fill down (copy the first row) to the succeeding 4 rows for the entire worksheet. The end result I am searchign in this example scenario is as follows...

    row 1: information1
    row 2: information1
    row 3: information1
    row 4: information1
    row 5: information1
    row 6: information 2
    row 7: information 2
    row 8: information 2
    row 9: information 2
    row 10: information 2
    row 11: information 3
    row 12: information 3
    row 13. information 3
    row 14: information 3
    row 15: information 3

Ideally, I would also need this (macro?) to be able to exclude certain columns as I want to keep their specific row data rather than fill it down.

I GREATLY appreciate any help anyone can give, this could make my life a whole lot easier...

    Thanks in Advance,
    Ryan

    Re: fill help

I don't quite understand your reply.

And in fact I'm realizing that it matters that the succeeding rows are actually not blank but in fact contain rather useless information that i would like replaced.

I really think I need a macro for this, but I have no idea how to write macros...

if anyone can help i would reeeeeally appreciate it!!!

    thanks,
    Ryan

    Re: fill help

i think we need to see a real sample, important things like is it always every 5th row or is there something common to the rows you do want or dont want
