    Log Graph

I am having difficulty getting Excel to graph anything that isn't log base 10. I want it to graph log base 1.85 for a fire protection engineering application, but haven't had any luck. Suggestions?

    Re: Log Graph on Excel

As for graphing, log scales are powers of 10 in Excel 2003.

You can use formulas to compute the log to any base you like, though, and plot those on a linear scale.

Will a newer version of Excel plot the log 1.85 scale?

    No, just whole positive numbers.

I think you're barking up the wrong tree, though. Post a workbook an explain what you're trying to do?
