    Angry Histogram and graph issues

    Hi all,

I may be having a complete dense moment but if you look at the attached .xls I just want to put the data into a graph like the one I have had to draw UGH!

Am I missing something? I can't get the data to display like that. Should I be using a histogram and if so, how? Any helps or a quick step-by-step would be greatly appreciated.

You need to change the layout of your data.

As a general rule merged cells and charts don't mix.

The empty cells in row 3 are confusing excel.

Add a space to each cell in the range A3:P3 then try creating a stacked column chart on the range A1:P5.

Set the gap width to 0.

Sorry, not sure what you mean by 'space'. I know this is sounding dense but I am lost and appreciate your help and patience

Press the long bar, normally found at the bottom of your keyboard. :P

A space character or the formula =CHAR(32) . Excel just needs to think the cell is not empty.

Wow. It's not going to be a good day is it... :p

Maybe I bring a whole new meaning to the word 'Dense'...

Thank you so very much for your help. You're a legend. Working perfectly now. Thank you.
