    insert>object>create from file. ("link to file" and "display as icon" left .

    Hi All,
    I have inserted few excel and word files into my working excel file using insert>object>create from file option. When I open my excel file, it automatically opening the inserted files.

    How can I control these inserted files not opening automatically. Please help me in this regard.

    Refer attached test file.

    I am using Excel 2003. In my machine it is opening both files. Is there any settings that I need to change.
    Even in one of the other machine it is not opening automatically.
