hi,
i am building a sheet in which ,if a specific text is entered in a cell (say A20) ,the time at that moment must come in a cell
and when the specific text is re entered in the cell( A20) the time at that moment must come but in the next row
and the first time cell should also retain its value
please help me

Hi

You will need to use a macro for this. The code below will check if the value entered in cell A20 is "ABCD" and if it is it will fill Date+Time in Column B starting from B1.

Change the ranges and text to match your requirements.
