Excel 2007 : Shared excel crash

The worksheet crashes when opened no matter the extension. It is a shared file, until yesterday all users could use it, now even though they use the same model of pc with the same software, one user can't access the file.

I get an error that looks generic, send - don't send. No other error code etc. I use office 2007 on top of 2003 because of some spelling modules that 2007 doesn't have.

1. I'd re-install Excel on that one user's machine.
2. Look at the file attributes of the file to insure it is closed?
3. Does the one machine think the file is already open? Cookies or something?
