I've got a list of 150 club members on one work sheet and want to filter them on to different worksheets depending on which team(s) they are likely to play for. So far I have columns with the name of each team and the names of each member, I also have worksheets named with the names of each team
Can you upload example workbook?

- Copy above code.
- In Excel press Alt + F11 to enter the VBE.
- Press Ctrl + R to show the Project Explorer.
- Choose Insert -> Module.
- Paste code into the right pane.
- Press Alt + Q to close the VBE.
- Save workbook before any other changes.

This seems to do the job but if I decide to make some one part of another team (ie make Eric a member of the 3rd XI I have to run the module again which gives me everyone else in the list twice.
I thought this will be one-time macro .. a macro just to transfer data from master sheet to the other sheets
Right click on the MasterSheet and select View Code. Paste this in VBE
This will clear existing values before pasting new ones..
