    Cutting and pasting cells

    Hello!

Let's say in A1 we have number 5
and in B1 the formula =2*A1

And then, in E5 we have number 6

If I CUT the whole cell E5 and paste them in A1, in B1 I get #REF.

Is there a way to make excel accept the new value (6) and return 12 as the result?

I know it's possible to do it if I COPY (not CUT) the cell, or just copy the contents instead of the whole cell, but I need it the other way...
