subtotal and/or pivot table - how to get results needed

Hi, I have a sheet with:
Partner, ID, Client, (several other fields), and Over60

(One main ID can have several different clients under it)

The end result I need is
    Sort by Partner, ID
    Subtotal by ID
Show only those with a subtotal (on ID) of >=3000 in the Over60 column
Show the detail as well (the other fields)

    I'm looking at something like:
    Sort ID, subtotal on Over60
    Collapse,
    Sort on Over60 Subtotals
    Expand
Delete rows (groups) with subtotals <30000
    Remove Subtotals,
    Sort Partner / ID,
    Subtotal

Any suggestions for a better way? This gets done monthly and the data changes every month.
    Thank you.

I think a pivot table would be a better way, could you upload a sample workbook so we can visualise your needs better?

If you feel really indebted please consider a donation to charity. My preferred charity is ActionAid but there are plenty of worthy alternatives.

Please see attached. This is a small representation of the data.

I did a separate sheet for each step and inserted a text box at top to explain step.
I'm wondering if there is an easier, better way to get to the final results.

All client names have been changed to protect the innocent. Client names are shown as identical, but most likely are not the same in real life. Should not affect the outcome as we don't sort/group/total on that field.

    Thank you!
