Custom Views is greyed out in my spread sheet. Somewhere during the
development I put in two custom views that I cannot activate or delete. Any
ideas on what can cause this. I only have one spread sheet selected.
Thanks,
Jerry B

Do you have more than one worksheet selected? Do you see [group] up on the
title bar?
That will gray out Custom Views.
Right-click on a sheet tab and "ungroup".

That is not the case. I would be very happy to email this to you if you
would like. I have been struggling for hours on this.

Hi:
I traced my problem down to "Lists" being in the spread sheet. As soon as I
removed them, custom views became available again. I hope this works for
you.

Look I'm sorry about this, but I have been workinh with Excel for some time now together with a lot of other Microsoft software and one thing I have learnt is BE SPECIFIC !!! What do you mean lists ??? lists what ??? nowhere can I find in the menus 'LISTS' where are your magical 'LISTS'
And why do these threads just peeter out without any conclusive resolution??? Five years on and we still have 'custom views greyed out' what a waste of time some bloggs turn out to be.

What do you mean Gord, sheet tabs?????? the ones at the bottom of the sheet with the sheet name?? If you right click on one of these you get - 'insert' 'delete' 'rename' 'move or copy' 'read code' 'protect sheet' 'tab colour' ' hide' and 'select all sheets' BE SPECIFIC !!!! WHAT TABS ???????????
