Sorting rows and moving columns in a locked sheet.

I would like this sheet to be sortable. so if I click on an element ( i.e. Copper or Cu) it reorganizes it with the most amount of copper on top and all the other rows follow suit. This seems like something that should be simple and common, but I just never have see how to do it. I also would like to be able to have end users easily rearrange the columns as they see fit without corrupting the data that is in them. All this, while locked.

I've uploaded an example sheet so you can see what I'm talking about.

You can sort readily if you arrange all the data for each record in a single row and then sort in the normal fashion.

Well, yeah, I'm aware of that. What I want is a way to make the Symbols links to sorting by ascending or descending order according to that particular column.

the manual way to do it would be to select everything then do the adv. sort. Then put in all the modifiers and what not. I want to be able to do that with one click.
