    Https into excel

    Hello guys,
    what is wrong? I have on one machine windows xp + excel 2007, on second the same (xp + 2007). On one machine I can use import web query from https site, but on the other at all (it wrote that excel is unable to open this site), what is wrong? where can I found solution? macro works fine, but this issue drive me mad ... thanks for any help !

    It's probably looking for a password/cookie verification. Have you tried accessing the site manually on the machine that doesn't work?

    yes yes, I've tried it. Manually (by using IE) there isnt problem - you can log without problems.
    Even right click on page (with using IE) and there is "Export to Microsoft Excel" - the same error appears.

    (anyway, this macro works on the "right" machive even you are not logged - there has to be something what I am missing ... )

    Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to help (I don't have xl07)

    If you are able to post the link to the site, someone with both xl03 and xl07 might be able to investigate further...

    thanks nevermind, but this error appears in 2003 as well ... probably there is some check box somewhere or what ... i do not know ...
