Calculate weekly numbers from daily numbers

How do I create a formula in Excel 2003 that will take a daily number from two separate tabs and have it automatically add the weeks worth of info and put a total on a weekly tab for the same category? I currently used =sumproduct() which works fine if its only one week, but this will be an on-going weekly report that I will need to build for several users. I don't want to have to manually do =sumproduct() for ever cell every week. HELP!

    Hello cnutter,

this sounds like a job for a pivot table. To get started with pivot tables, check out http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Pivots/pivotstart.htm

    cheers
