Hello,

I was wondering if someone can help me with this:

I need to create an excel sheet for reports.

Every week we need to login data and compare that data to the previous week.

For example, week one's data would look like this:

1st Week - Current Week: 5 Previous Week: 0

the following weeks data would look like this:

2nd Week - Current Week: 7 Previous Week: 5

and so on....

3rd Week - Current Week: 2 Previous Week: 7

4th Week - Current Week: 10 Previous Week: 2

I hope this is making a bit of sense...

I want to save the inputted data so that I can reference to it in the following week.

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!

Hello,

create a data entry sheet where you enter each data item on a new row. First row has titles, for example "Week number" and "amount"

Then create a report on the data on a second sheet.

Set up the basic data entry structure and post the workbook. Then someone will be able to help with the report.
