How to make the cents in a price tag small

    Hi

Hopefully a simple question and even simple solution.

I need to input a price in one worksheet and have it populate into another worksheet (this I already know how to do) but can't figure out how to make the cents small Putting it into another cell is not an option.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

Putting it into another cell is not an option.
if not this, VBA is the only option, but that creates all sorts of additional confusions, why don't you want an additional cell?

Re: How to make the cents in a price tag small

I have included the worksheet I am creating right now.

The reason I can't use an extra cell is the fact that if the price is 9.99 or 99.99 or 999.99 or even 9999.99 , it would change the way the price tag prints out.

    Thanks

i take it we're looking at the big number on the 'big yellow' label.

    Where is the 'source' cell?

Should the decimal point be small or big?

    Correct.

The "source" cell is going to be in the "description" worksheet at cell D3.

The decimal place needs to be big.

    Thanks for your help

See attached example (you'll need to enable macros).

Office 2010 is actually a very good peice of software, which mean Microsoft probably hired some one from Apple to redesign it

Maybe there is another way to do this, is there any way to tie the relative postion of a text box to the first number to the left of the period?

    Thanks

LOL, I love that there have been six downloads of a file which by design cannot contain any macros!

My firewall isn't playing nice today, all you need to do is put code like this:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
In the Description sheet (right-click the sheet tab and paste in there).

You'd need to save the file as an xlsm afterwards.

Sorry not working on my end.

Also the number at my end keeps rounding up.

Can you zipped it and send it?

And also it needs to be able to go into the LargeRed worksheet as well. Do I just create a new macro for that one or insert it into the one with the yelow macro statement?

Well, that did work except it placed the number in the description worksheet and not the LargeYellow worksheet

Then change the Me to Sheet2 or whatever it's supposed to be.

Try different fonts until you find one where the dp is a circle
