I'm in a statistics class, doing frequency distribution using a pivot table. I have a row of numbers for data ranging from 4.0 to 5.9. What I want to do is use the grouping option to separate them into classes of 4.00-4.49, 4.50-4.99, 5.00-5.49, and 5.50-5.99. (Each of those ranges is a column header, with a count of how many numbers are in that range below.)

My problem is whenever I enter 4.00 as the starting number, 5.99 as the ending number, and 0.50 as the interval, they come out looking like 4-4.5, 4.5-5, 5-5.5, and 5.5-6. It seems like it's rounding, even though I have the formatting set to 2 decimal places. Not only that, but it's using 4.5 and 5.5 in more the one column. I can't seem to find any option to correct the problem.
