If you format the cells > protection > hidden and then protect the worksheet, you will not be able to see the formulas. Any cells that you want to enter data into will need to be unlocked prior to protecting the sheet. Does that work for you?

Hi,
No macro required...
1. Unprotect all of the cells on your sheet. CTRL & A. Right-click > Format Cells > Protection > Uncheck the "Locked" checkbox > OK
2. Select the cells that you wish to hide the formulas for. Right-click > Format Cells > Protection > Check the "Hidden" checkbox > OK
3. Protect the workbook. Tools > Protection Protect Sheet > Check the "Contents" checkbox OK.
Rule 1: Never merge cells
Rule 2: See rule 1

hum...
And a macro to fully protect the formulas, whit password?
I am unsure of what you want this macro to do. What Sweep and I have explained will do exactly what I believe you are asking for without the macro component. Why would you want a macro? A macro code would simply automate the couple of steps that we outlined. Is this a process that you have to retro fit into numerous spreadsheets?
To Protect and Hide formulas/functions
Select those cells, FORMAT CELLS> PROTECTION> check hidden > Ok
Protect worksheet with password.
If there are any cells or columns that you want to enter data into
Select those cells, FORMAT CELLS> PROTECTION> uncheck locked > Ok
Hope that helps.

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
Hope that helps.

The only way a macro can do this is to apply the steps outlined above.
