How to display a "text value" after matching a "date" in a certain "date range"

Hi guys i need some help on this workbook that I'm doing (please see attached file)

    1. I basically need to show what is on the "Name" row (O31) on the "Subcontractor" (D22).

    2. The idea is whenever I will change the "Date" it will show the corresponding value on "Subcontractor".
Ex. on 8/19/10 the Subcontractor is "text1"
on 8/20/10 the Subcontractor is "text2"
so if I change the "Date" to 8/19/10 it should show "text1" and if I change it to
    8/20/10 it should show "text2"

    3. I have no problem showing numbers but I don't know the way to show it as a text.

Please help I will really appreciate it. thanks.

    Mike

I think you may be after

    =INDEX(P31:IV31,MATCH(I4,P30:IV30,0))

    in D22

    cheers
