formula to show end result after minus from range

not sure how to word this in a title but what i wanted to do was say i have bags numbered 1 to 10 shown either in one cell (AB4) or over 2 cells(A2 & B2) :

if i enter the bag number i want to take out (column C2 & D2 OR CD4) from the range 1-10 i want the remaining to show in another column(E2 & F2 OR EF4).

i am flexible with how the numbers for column c & d are shown

is there a formula or macro to work this out?? thanks all in advance!
